Destanni Henderson has gone from playing for a national championship and being the point guard of a national powerhouse in the South Carolina Gamecocks to playing for an Indiana Fever (5-27) team that has struggled to the worse record in the WNBA at 5-27 with four games left in the regular season.

Through 32 games, Henny has averaged 5.3 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Her season-high totals include 19 points against the Sparks, she’s dished at least five assists three separate times, and has corralled a season-best four rebounds against the Sky.
With four games left in her rookie season, Henderson has stated that her goal is to be “deliberate” with the time she has left in the regular season.
“I just have to be deliberate when I’m on the court, and I have to take the opportunities that I get,” Henderson said.
“Not try to make stuff hard on myself, push the ball in transition, and I feel like when I do do that, good things happen.

The Fever kick off their final stretch of the season with a road game against the Atlanta Dream (12-18) on Wednesday.
