Fred Williams will take over as interim head coach.

This season, the Sparks are off to a 5-7 start, good for fourth in the Western Conference. Fisher went 54-46 during his nearly four-year tenure with the Sparks. Fisher led Los Angeles to two playoff appearances, losing in the first-round on both trips before missing the playoffs entirely during the 2021 season with a 12-20 record.

The Sparks return to action on Saturday with a contest against the West-leading Las Vegas Aces (10-2).
