The Brooklyn Nets are reportedly interested in signing Dwight Howard, according to Scoop B Robinson of Bally Sports.

The Nets are reportedly looking to add veterans with their final roster spots, and Howard fits that mold as a defensive menace in the paint. Brooklyn was interested in acquiring Carmelo Anthony; however, Robinson reported that they decided against bringing Melo in favor of bringing in a “vocal leader in the locker room.”

Carmelo Anthony’s name has not been talked about more recently in Nets land, I’m told.
